Literature Exchange
During the annual UJNR Aquaculture Panel Meeting, each side exchanges
scientific literature. The intent is to allow both sides access to scientific
material that is hard to find or particularly relevant to that year's
meeting topic. Many of these publications are copyrighted and therefore
availability to the public is best made using the interlibrary loan process
through an affiliated library.

Student Exchange Program
In an effort to increase communication and collaboration between Japan
and the U.S., a student exchange program was initiated in 1998. In this
program, two U.S. students are invited to work for four months in Japan
with top Japanese researchers. The following year Japanese students are
invited to study with the U.S. scientists who sent students to study in
Japan.
