Nautical Charts

These non-NOAA nautical chart products are not part of the Federal Depository Program and therefore do not have a SUDOC number.

1. British Admiralty Charts

        • These charts need to be arranged numerically within each drawer.
        • Out of date editions need to be stamped SUPERSEDED

2. French Charts–Service Hydrographique et Oceanographique de la Marine

        • These charts (currently on top of the large set of map drawers)
     need to be put in order, folded, and put in the small drawers that
     have been labeled for this purpose, next to the British Admiralty
     charts.
        •    Out of date editions need to be stamped SUPERSEDED

3.  NIMA/DMA Charts

        • Many of these charts are in 3 lower drawers of the large set of map
     drawers.  One label has been added to identify them, but individual
     drawers have not been labeled because they have not been gone
     through in order to establish a set of ranges for each drawer.  It
     appears that adding the maps that are on top of one of the small
     drawer map cases will overwhelm these 3 drawers that have been
     designated for these charts, and a decision will need to be made
     regarding the storage of these charts.
        • Out of date editions need to be stamped SUPERSEDED

Department of Interior Products

 These products are received through the Federal Depository Library Program
